Our daily schedule includes two yoga classes a day one before breakfast to prepare you for the day and one in the early evening to promote relaxation, rest and better sleep. In the evening we offer Yoga Nidra and/or meditation.
Each day of the week we offer a different activity during the day for you to explore the surrounding area, get to know Sri Lankan culture or immerse deeper into yoga practise.
An example schedule would be:
Monday waterfall tour by tuk tuk
6 waterfalls a visit to a Buddhist Monastery lunch in a mountain restaurant finishing off with a swim
Tuesday vegetarian or Vegan cookery course
Hands on Instruction with one of our cooks including shopping locally for fresh vegetables, fruit and spices.
Wednesday Hilloya Trek
16 km Trek with a licensed local guide starting in the Hiloya Valley rice paddies continuing up through the spice fields stopping at waterfall for packed lunch and the finishing through the tea plantations.
Thursday Yoga immersion day
A chance to improve individually your positions and learn more about Yoga generally
Either Silent meditation day or an organised day trip
A day of rest and reflection or an organised day trip.
Our timetable is very flexible and we can do most activities on any day. Just discuss your what you'd like to do with the Yoga Teacher or Michael and we will do our best to organise it for you.
